ABOUT THE MACEDONIAN MATTERS -Part 2

(Or Almost 100 YEARS LATHER)

AN OPEN LETTER  FROM POMNI  TO THE MACEDONIANS AND TO THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY

 Who is ICG  ? or 

OUR COMENTARY  ON “THE EXECUTIVE  SUMMARY AND  RECOMMENDATIONS” (by ICG) [1]

 Prior to engaging in any discussions regarding issues of importance and with  at list some merit, one should  choose  the approach that will be used  for assessment and scientific analysis. Inductive or deductive, either approach would need to analyze  the sources  of information first, the credibility of the same, and  the merit of the same for the issues being addressed. Only then can one  develop synthesis with its own views and give ultimate judgments, statements  etc.

The source of the above report is ICG ( International Crisis Group) from  Brussels, and the report  was dated 10 December 2001.1

First of all the ICG is an international  (declaratively only) NGO and a surrogate   ( I will not use the word hybrid  as it does not appear that ICG  is organization that have ultimate positive  intentions for Macedonia, and serves as Trojan horse with other goals and interests as priority) and among the rest has members like Gareth Evans[2] who is already proven to be biased  and against the interests of Macedonia and for many years closely collaborating with the Greeks in Australia acting as their advocate and against  Macedonia and its interests.

Let’s not talk about his past 10-12 years of activities, some even clearly implicating that he may have bloody hands and involvement in dealings with arms that were used to commit massacres in Indonesia (and other places??) His self promoting activities and “pushes” for candidacy in UNESCO position as well as other political history in Australia are revealing non scrupulous politician who is of the right type that the oligarchs would prefer to use as a Trojan Horse[3], not only in Macedonia, but as one can see from activities of ICG in other countries in the world, predominantly in the Balkans.

Let’s not talk about his drinking problem that may have been additional negative “asset”, and 6 months suspension of the driving license for drunk driving ( just prior to the appointment to the ICG position).

   He only reminds me of Curt Waldhaim[4] of whom there was more than sufficient evidence for being involved in WW I I  atrocities over the Jews in Macedonia and Kosovo, and instead of  facing Hag’s Tribunal[5]  he became  the Secretary General of UN,[6] and lather the President of Austria[7]….

I will not comment on other members of ICG, as some of them are indeed honest men and friends of the piece and justice, but association with people of the type Gareth Evans is, makes them “guilty by association”, and more, the acceptance of there membership in an organization like ICG with fogged goals further proves our point.

 Most of the members of ICG are well exposed and one can obtain extensive information about them via the Internet.[8]

This alone would have disqualified this group and would have rendered the same illegitimate to talk about Macedonia’s future. Analyzing further what this organization really is, and the fact that no one can take the responsibility for the results of there committed mistakes and damages inflicted on third parties, and that no one (no entity or country) is to be blamed for often “killing of” the entire countries, renders the ICG to be a debate club or better yet an Internet Forum with no more credibility than any other Internet Forum or NGO that expresses the views of its members, and can be judged only by the quality of its views or merit of its proposed opinion.

ICG and similar groups are often backed by suspicious  $$$ originating in oligarchic groups who are attempting to impose the “new global world order” and who in that process are destroying the world peace and the world’s future.

So, I can not accept the fact that any such pirate organization(s)-NGO(s) with one more hobby of debating countries futures on their daily hobby agendas [in addition to there old individual hobbies of yachting, golfing, poker and so on], by playing there games and by making pathological combinations, in turn carve my country’s future, and the future of my own flesh and blood- my own children, and the generations and millions of Macedonian (and not only Macedonian) children, and more- if not the future of the world it self.

What now?

So now that we have established the source of this report as not being reliable, we can give our own closer view of  its content and by virtue of analysis further evaluate what its intentions may be and further prove our point by using and presenting our own facts, evidences and experiences.

Problem and Conflict Solving Strategies

First of all I will make reference to three of the Ways to resolve conflict [9]as adapted from David W. and Frank P.Johnson, Joining Together: Group Theory and Group Skills, 2^nd ed. (Englewood Cliffs, N.J.:Prentice-Hall,Inc., 1982) pp. 109-110, that I am sure all of the members of ICG must have read, if they were indeed committed to problem resolution. Since behaving in the manner and way Leotard[10], Perdue[11] and other missionaries appeared to behave like   apparently is showing them as working against those principles that I will quote below.

My take on

“The EXECUTIVE SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS”1 (by the ICG)

The above referenced tool (The WAYS TO RESOLVE CONFLICT9) I quoted for a good reason. We will be referencing to it as we go trough the EXECUTIVE SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS by the ICG, and I would also like to impact every reader with something positive, that he would be able to take out of this commentary and remember as positive experience.

As in any scientific thesis we will first make a statement and then prove it right or wrong. We will draw our conclusions based on the factoid situation and on what we were able to derive from it.( Like in syllogism[12]).

Lets say the ICG wants to help Macedonia to resolve its problem with [what I see like] textbook terrorist invasion and special warfare including [but not limited to] psychological warfare and also help Macedonia and Greece resolve the conflict that is originating from 1913 and the Treaty of Bucharest[13] that resulted in division of Macedonia and occupation of 51% of its territory by Greece. Lets just say for the mater of this scientific approach that ICG wants to help with the resolution of the subsequent atrocities committed by Greece, [and Bulgaria], results of the ethnic cleansing and genocide of the Macedonians on the territory occupied by Greece, [in addition to the rest of Macedonia’s territory that was occupied then by Serbia and is still being occupied by Albania].

Lets say ICG also wants to resolve the issue surrounding the name of the country of the Macedonians, country called Macedonia [country that is constitutionally designated to be Republic- Republic of Macedonia], name that Greece has raised to a point of being regarded as if it was an evil!

It appears that this paranoia goes back to 1970’s and the issue of Greece asking to increase the rent Greece charges U.S. for the U.S. military bases stationed  on  Greek territory [of which a senior military official  was quoted as saying: ”…that all the US military installations in Greece were on Macedonian soil …”, and by all means it appears that instead of raising the rent that US was  paying to Greece, from then current  $500 millions to $1.0 Billion, by all means ”… it would have been cheaper to give this territory back to Macedonia and not pay any rent for it…”.This is coincides with the time of then Director of CIA George Bush, who  was known for having  good memory of events that are insulting U.S. interests . This coincides with the war on Cyprus and division of Cyprus as well as with the development of the euphoria and paranoia in Greece about the “Macedonian question” and  the name of Macedonia as former Yugoslav Republic under Tito. This also coincides with angry Greeks  burning the American flags on the streets  in Greece 1974,that  anti American behavior  [among the rest] has reoccurred in Greece again with the US troops coming to Macedonia for the Kosovo operations in Yugoslavia 1999, and lather for US and NATO presence in Macedonia and Kosovo.

 Let’s start with the review and comment line by line:

[I will use different size of text  and underline the same in order to identify the quotes from the “Executive Summary Recommendations”]

“EXECUTIVE SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS “

“Executive” …???? Summary and “recommendations”???

“On 16 November 2001, Macedonia’s parliament passed a set of constitutional amendments that were agreed in August…”

“…Agreed?!?!?!…” Amendments were shoveled down the throat of the Macedonian Parliament and party leaders! In an unprecedented textbook terrorist invasion a country was forced to change its Constitution in order to satisfy the demands of the terrorist. The process was “generously helped” by facilitators Perdue (USA) and Leotard(EU) as well as NATO’s Solana and Robertson, who even used treats of bombardment of Macedonia if the agreement was not approved by the Parliament.

We imagine the same kind of bombardment that was used in order to make Yugoslavia fulfill the demands of the terrorist Albanian KLA. The same Albanian KLA terrorists who were doing the  kind of ethnic cleansing and genocide over the Serbs  (and instead  blamed the Serbs for the reverse process by the Serbs over the Yugoslavian-Albanians in Kosovo), the same kind of ethnic cleansing and genocide as the Albanian terrorists (and alike) again did in Macedonia under now different names “UCK,KLA,ANA,ONA etc.

In another words the Cuban scenario from 1901 was repeated 100 years lather in Macedonia. Why Cuban scenario? Well because the Platt Amendment was drafted by U.S. Senator Orville Platt and incorporated into Cuban constitution in 1901 also under similar circumstances of occupation and forcefully. The amendment granted Washington the right to intervene in Cuban affairs at any time and to establish military bases on Cuban soil. (The Platt Amendment was abrogated in 1934 under treaty signed by both governments, which legalized all concessions granted by Cuba during the U.S. occupation).[14]

 “…when Macedonian and Albanian minority leaders”…

“Macedonian minority?!?!?!”- yeah maybe it is true since the whole of the Macedonians is not in Macedonia and  they number in millions.” Leaders!?!?!” They did not have the mandate to make decisions of this kind, since they did not have the legitimacy of the vote of all Macedonians (or at list the elections that were illegal and murky and did not grant any particular entity the right to make decisions in the name of all the Macedonians. Last time all Macedonians caste the vote  it was for the  referendum 1991 and ever since they had only partially participated in the election process in clear violation of the Constitution.

 “…signed the Ohrid Framework Agreement. Later that day, President Trajkovski clarified the terms of an amnesty…”

Amnesty was forced too. To amnesty terrorists for crimes that the same countries insisting on the amnesty send the same terrorists to the electric chair, or for lethal injection…

“…for Albanian rebels, in line with international requests…”

Rebels?!?!? This has to be redefined. Especially after a textbook of terrorists invasion with infiltration and recruiting of domestic traitors, associated with  psychological special warfare. Do we call Osama Bin Laden rebel??? No! Well he use to be one, was he not??? You can not call rebels those who cross the border in to another country and inflict casualties, conduct textbook terrorist invasion with all the logistics etc. Even KZK (KPK)[15] from Kosovo on payroll of UN participated in this operations by “the rebels”. How does ICG explain the unfortunate use of the word “rebels” instead of terrorists??? Or maybe is trying to justify all the atrocities as a part of the over all scenario???

For the Macedonians, and all of those who are not under the influence of illicit drugs this was textbook terrorist invasion that brought suffering, ethnic cleansing, genocide and humiliation of the Macedonians and non Albanians in Macedonia and Kosovo as well. There was and still is on the way special psychological warfare in Macedonia. That is so transparent!!!

“These positive moves…”

Purely rhetoric!

(positive for whom??? For my uncle Sime Jakimovski who was kidnapped and is still missing, for his sister Jagoda, who died  heartbroken two days lather and could not be even properly berried  since the  terrorist were shooting at the casket???)

“have breathed new life into the Framework Agreement.But they do not put it beyond risk, or take Macedonia itself out of danger.”

Danger of what??? Danger of new offensive by the terrorists that should and will be confronted with real means and weapons for destruction and elimination of terrorists from Macedonian  soil. That the insurgents from Kosovo and Albania will be kicked out and eliminated. That Macedonia will finally take charge to protect its territory by all available means and at all costs- same way  as US, (and other countries ) are doing when confronted by shameful and bloody terrorists invasion and infiltration of its  territory that is interrupting the country’s normal life and endangers its citizens lives. Situation that will reveal the hidden cards of the game called international terrorism, state terrorism and similar epithets. Danger that amnesty for terrorists will no longer be available, but instead an electric chair and lethal injection will be available!!!

 “A powerful faction in government…”

What “…powerfullfaction if the government…” ?!?!? The Government  is entirely consisted of parties that “ supported the Framework Agreement “ and pushed for its passage in the Parliament!?!? Did it not? At list that is what we were told by the “International community” and  NGO’s and ICG’s etc., after “successful” media campaign that “pushed” for passage of  that  “Framework Agreement” !?!? Despite the fact that not even 1% of the public “had a clue” about the content of that “Agreement” and what would it mean if it is passed  by the Parliament. The same Macedonian public  that was arrogantly bypassed from the  due process in the case of Constitutional changes ( as in every other country – especially in U.S., Australia, Canada and the European countries where large Macedonian Diaspora lives and  participates in the political process in those respective countries, therefore knowing first hand what indeed should have taken place instead of the forceful change of the Constitution like in 1901 Cuba?!?!)

“…still opposes the agreed reforms, and will resist their implementation…”

Members  of those parties  [as one can see ] who according to this same report :

 “…approved of and signed  the Framework Agreement…” ?!?!?”.

…“Ordinary Macedonians deeply resent the way the Framework Agreement was reached and remain suspicious of the international community’s entire role.”

Yes indeed, it will be very suspicious. Well you bet it will deeply resent the  “Framework Ag reement” after it was shoveled down the throat of the ordinary Macedonian (and not only ordinary Macedonian) after discounting  his free will and Constitutional right of a due process and public debate as in any other civilized country in the world. Lets not forget that  this very Macedonia is the clamp of the civilization, the center of literacy, Christianity and culture. Don’t you think Macedonians are insulted by the process and the treatment that resembles Cuba from 1901???

Anybody still surprised that ordinary Macedonian will be suspicious of the international community’s entire role???

Every time the “so called International community” was involved in helping Macedonia (ever since Berlin, Bucharest, Paris, Niles, Yalta…) Macedonia was loosing part of its territory along with many civilian victims of the wars. Macedonia was being diminished little by little with new promises  and waiting periods giving the occupiers of its territory time for ethnic cleansing, genocide and assimilation. The same has happened again. Macedonians lived to experience becoming refugees and ethnically cleansed in there own country. Macedonians have experienced genocide in their own country while the  Macedonian army and the Police was halted by that same “international community” and its facilitators!!!!?!?!

Anybody still surprised that ordinary Macedonian will be suspicious of the international community, and for that matter organizations like ICG????

“This provides a serious obstacle to the reform process, and a valid grievance for the anti-reform camp to exploit.”

You can bet it does, and you bet they will exploit it.  But that will happen by legal and by Constitutional means, by the same means that the Macedonians abroad (in the Diaspora) have learned in the countries of that same “International community”, the same means that voted Gareth Evans out of office in Australia, where part of the Macedonian Diaspora lives and knows what those means are and how the real western democracy works, what the majority rules means and so on and so forth. In a process that would no more be controlled by terrorist invasion and various “facilitators”. In a process that will not be paralyzed by everyday roadblocks by the  spoiled  minority of Macedonian-Albanians.

“So far as Macedonians are concerned,..”

And you can bet they are concerned, especially those excluded from the due decision making process.

“…the Agreement contains a double weakness.”

And I will add more than double weakness, I will call that multiple weaknesses.

“First, it redresses long-standing minority grievances …”

Minority grievances!?!? It is more than obvious that this is grabbing of territory, continuous ethnic cleansing and genocide of Macedonians (for past 200 years that intensifies in the past 100 years) for the benefit of  Albanian terrorists and demographic invasion of Macedonian territory more pronounced since Kosovo fingered refugee crisis. The agreement gives the minority, (who’s number is like ghosts and constantly changes) the right to rule over the majority. Paradox that is not seen anywhere in the world. This is happening at the same time when Macedonia’s neighbors ,[while occupying parts of its territory] do not recognize even the existence of its own Macedonians as minority, and not to talk about lock of basic human rights for the same Macedonians in those respective neighboring countries. Totally unacceptable in any other country in the world.  And may I ask why would it be acceptable by an ordinary Macedonian???

“…mainly by reducing the privileges of the majority.”

How can they say this?!?! There were no such privileges for the majority Macedonians in Macedonia. That is a bloody lye. The Macedonians in Tetovo and all over Western parts of Macedonia [inhabited with large groups of ethnic Macedonian-Albanians], were treated  by the ethnic Macedonian-Albanians as if they are second class citizens. The official Macedonian insignia and flags were not used and were ignored, Macedonians were extinct from the local government offices  and more … What “privileges are ICG talking about. Please help me understand there point if this is not misleading statement to confuse the reader and misrepresent the factual situation. 

What is true is also that by that shameful “Ohrid Framework Agreement” the  Democratic Majority rule ( that is by the way, the rule in all the countries of NATO,EU,U.S.) was disqualified and a new unprecedented system was imposed on Macedonia, that is not present in any other country of the world, ( not to speak of the respective countries of the [now famous] “facilitators” Leotard, Perdue, Solana… and yes, Robertson too!). What a paradox, what a shame???

 This was happening in Macedonia and affecting Macedonians and Macedonian-Albanians in Tetovo and in entire Macedonia, when at the same time in U.S. ROBERT’s RULES OF ORDER SIMPLIFIED are being used in Tetovo’s Sister City of Sterling Heights, Michigan. The irony becomes greater if you know that Macedonians in Sterling Heights do not have even single employee in the City government, Police, Court and so on…- NONE!  In Tetovo Albanians are  holding more than 90% of the jobs in the City government(percent that is outrageous and does not correspond to the percentage of Macedonian-Albanian in the City of Tetovo at all. Macedonians do not have a single director of government owned business or office (after 75 Macedonian directors were fired for the benefit of  ethnic Macedonian-Albanian directors(!?!?!?) during the past 2-3 years.

How does ICG expect that Macedonians who feel occupied in there own country will accept the above proposed changes shoveled down there throats?!?!?

“Secondly, its purpose of turning Macedonia into a ‘civic state’  “

As if Macedonia was not a “civic state”- the center of Christianity, literacy and culture, by all means center of the world and the civilization.

 “…while admirable and necessary – makes Macedonia an anomaly…”

 “Admirable and  necessary…” Yeah!?!?!? You bet Macedonia  is big “anomaly”!  Like a child that was born with an anomaly in 1913.

Yes anomaly that was imposed to its body. Anomaly whereby the Macedonian living  body after being split in four parts is still alive despite the predictions of its “pathologists” on the “autopsy 1913” who had predicted that it will decay in 75 years so the case will be closed when revisited in 75 years.

And what happened then?(Or now-75-89 years lather) Yugoslavia (Serbia) moved out peacefully from its part of the share obtained by the  1913 division of Macedonia because it was shown unequivocally and undoubtedly that Macedonia and the Macedonians indeed did not decay and  disappear for the past 75 (now 89 ) years. Since it was so obvious that they are putty much alive, are doing well and it was shown that they can be good neighbors.

For Albania, Bulgaria and Greece the shock is still too big and they are still in denial, but the real picture and living Macedonians are reappearing in Macedonia’s occupied territories not only from the ever growing Diaspora, but from within the very countries that are occupiers of Macedonia’s territories.

Yes anomaly is the word to be used to explain the surprised and shocked  neighbors.

 And by who’s fault is it ???? Or by who’s merit? It is the indestructible Macedonian spirit that outlived all of its occupiers trough millennia of occupations. The real Macedonia’s faith and Christian values built in to the Holly Macedonian Orthodox Church and every Macedonian that were altruistically transferred to every occupier therefore enriching them and building part of Macedonia in to their societies making Macedonian culture part of the occupiers culture. Developing symbiosis with them that worked with synergistic force and enriching everyone that Macedonians got in touch with.    That is how this anomaly happened.

“…in a region of emphatically ‘ethnic’ states, three of which uphold fundamental challenges to the Macedonian identity."

As if ICG does not know that all three ( and I will add all four neighbors including Albania). Albania holds part of Macedonian territory, where Macedonians have no rights and are not recognized, while Albania does not miss any opportunity to support territorial and “Great Albania” initiatives in the neighborhood, namely Kosovo, Macedonia, Greece, and not only logistically, but militarily  helping  terrorists and extremists and has its own aspirations for Macedonian territory. Not to mention that even the late and legendary Mother Theresa was used as a weapon of Albanian propaganda and her “Authorized biography first published in the UK by Sinclair-Stevenson in 1992 and written  by Navin Chawla, on the very page #1 will read this false statement[16]:

“According to Mother Teresa’s Indian Diplomatic passport, Mary Teresa Bojaxhiu was born on 26 August 1910 in Skopje, Yugoslavia. In 1910, Skopje was a small town with a population of about 25,000. It was  then part of the kingdom of Albania, itself a part of the Ottoman Empire…”[17]

What a lye, a bloody distortion of the history. Since Albanian government had kept close ties with every move by Mother Theresa ---  by “pure ignorance”  Navin Chawla, senior civil servant working for the Government in India and who wrote her biography launched his “torpedo”.

“Greece vetoes international acceptance of Macedonia’s name,…”

After in the process of assimilation, ethnic cleansing and genocide, Greece has renamed parts of the occupied Macedonian territory as Eastern,Central and Western Macedonia ( as if there was Northern Macedonia as well to make the whole of  Macedonia ( Wasn’t that long term planning or what? Something like the China-Hong Kong, and Republic of China Taiwan issue, described by Prof.Skaric[18]).  The Greeks know very well that  The Big Mac Principle“…the whole is equal to more than the sum of its parts…” and …” The whole is equal to less than the sum of its parts.”[19] ,so they are afraid of the future. Why???

Maybe because they know about the ethnic cleansing that there grand parents ( and some of them are still living) or themselves have committed against the Macedonians on the occupied territory. Maybe they are afraid that the truth about the genocide of the Macedonians will immerge and they will be called to Hag, or they have to pay for it??? Maybe they are afraid that the world will find out the truth about Macedonia and its stolen history??? And that the world will find out the real story and the thumb of Alexander of Macedonia (also known as Veliki, or Great)Who knows??? But they certainly have bloody hands, and the blood on there hands is Macedonian blood. This is why I think they are afraid of the truth.

Maybe because the remarks mentioned earlier as rumors and reportedly coming from Bush (the father). Maybe from the fact that Ducakis did not win the Presidency, maybe because Greece knows that US Congress authorized the border between Greece and Macedonia and  US can change it if it is to its benefits again???

 “Serbia denies the autonomy of its church,…”

Yes indeed, since the Church is one of the institutions that kept the Macedonians- Macedonians. Lets quote the renown novelist, biographer, journalist, and critic Rebecca West ( I believe all of the members of ICG have not only heard about her but have read her books) who in her  “Black Lamb and Grey Falcon” A journey through pre war (WW II that is) Yugoslavia published in  two valiums 1941, on page 740 quotes  the monk called Doctor”, a Serb from north of Belgrade as saying of  Bishop Nokolai from Zhitcha:

“…Besides   he is making it a rule to have  none but Macedonian monks  in Macedonian monasteries, and there is no reason why  I should be an exception.”

There was much in what he said, though the rule was probably first conceived as a sop to the Macedonian patriots. “

“…and Bulgaria (while accepting Macedonia as a state) denies the existence of a Macedonian language and a Macedonian nation.”

 I will add-same as the MPO. The reasoning behind that is there “long term propaganda and similar to the one China had over Hong Cong, Republic of China-Taiwan etc.( As described by Prof. Skaric Svetomir in his book “The Law, the Power and the Peace-Macedonia and Kosovo” published  in April 2002 in Skopje- pages 11-29). That is probably the long term strategy the Bulgarians are sticking with, pathologically as in Psychiatry Dg./ Pseudologia fantastica, Syndrom of Minchausen, believing  there own false stories and a case of pure collective  wishful thinking.

It will be interesting to quote Edith Durham (“High Albania” First published by Esward Arnold in1909) on 294 page she quotes the celebrated Canon of Tsar Dushan that throws light on the means employed to  crushe the conquered, when Great Servia was  at its greatest”… and continues “Tsar Dushan, the Macedonian, Autocrat of Servia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Wallachia, and other countries…. Laws established by the grace of God in the year 1349 at the meeting of the Patriarchs, &c…” If you recollect earlier statement  by  the monk “Doctor” from the Monastery of St.Naum and the tradition for all monks in Macedonian monasteries to be Macedonian will give you  some “juice” to work with and understand how far back the Bulgarians have to go to falsify facts ( if we forget the “circumstances” of having 51% of the Macedonian territory and cultural ancestry  under Greek control, and substantial % under current Bulgarian control including the  actual old Macedonian Archbishop’s crown. Another reference to Edit Durham’s “High Albania” on pages 347-348 (Epilogue) in 1909, addressing the circumstances preceding the lather division of Macedonia in 1913:

            “Why.” I was asked on all sides, “do the English people, who have  a hundred times declaired  the Turk unfit to rule, believe he has changed his whole nature in twenty four hours? Why, after holding out hopes to the Balkan peoples, do they now rejoice to nail us once more under the Turk? Why should we suffer because it suits British politics that the Turk should remain?” And continues: “ Give us  a protectorate such as Crete has, under which we can become autonomous,” said Albania eagerly. (Crete was then reckoned free and safe.)

 “ The Constitution ( The young Turks Constitution 1908 granting equal rights to all Muslim and Christians) is but a temporary affair that will not ultimately upset our plans,” said Bulgaria sweetly.

“We shall support it till we are  quite ready to move, and not a moment longer,” said Greece decidedly.

“Its existence would be the ruin of all our national hopes,” said  Servia and Montenegro sadly.

“England has  betrayed us!” cried all the Balkan peoples  aghast:” where are those Liberal friends in whom we believed, and who  urged each of us in turn ‘to go in and win’?”

“We have the whole German army behind us, and shall take what we please. You (England) can do nothing!” cried Austria jubilant….

At the time of this events many Macedonians found refuge outside of Macedonia- they were in Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, America, Australia… as they are again today almost 100 years lather.

The players in the big game have not changed, the balance of powers  however did change, but the venue is the same and it looks like  the same  interested parties are around Macedonia.

Now days again like almost 100 years ago Macedonians are being excluded from the process and ICG is reminding us of the history and playing on the psychological warfare cards- reminding us of our neighbors behavior ( or of what is tolerated  to be there behaviors). Are the intentions of ICG positive while bringing this facts up about our neighbors? Is ICG in any fashion warning the neighbors them selves of there behaviors!?!?

 Did ICG give any RECOMMENDATIONS to them as  how to refrain from that behavior? Well the answer is NO! So one can draw conclusion about this remark in the  EXECUTIVE SUMMARY  By the ICG regarding Macedonia’s neighbors behavior and as the report quotes “…three of which uphold fundamental challenges to the Macedonian identity.” What  a scam!?!?!

The Macedonian identity is indisputable as the day and night, and the bright sun on the sky, as the existence of Alexander of Macedonia, and Jesus Christ , and as my own if you wish-because I ( as well as millions of other Macedonians) do exist with my own identity and that is indisputable fact also regardless of the pathological state of minds of those quoted by ICG in the report. We do speak Macedonian language and belong to the greatest and most generous of all- the  Macedonian nation. Just open your eyes and see, open your ears and hear me out!

“Following its success at Ohrid,…”

In who’s opinion was it a success??? In those belonging to the oligarchical structures reminding us of the above quote by Edith Duram’s “ High Albania”?

“… the international community has tended to underestimate the profound challenge that the Framework Agreement poses to Macedonia’s already fragile sense of identity,…”

The challenge is alright a challenge, but not to Macedonia’s “fragile sense of identity”, what an insult?!?!? Who is the writer of this EXECUTIVE SUMMARY? What a moronic statement? “ Fragile sense of   identity?!?!?!” That is may be what ICG and alkies wanted to accomplish with there involvements in the “resolution” of artificially created crisis as a result of textbook terrorist invasion?

I will have to answer to that again with anti thesis:” The “Shameful Framework Agreement” is not a challenge to “Macedonian’s already fragile sense of identity”,( as ICG put it) since  Macedonia’s sense of identity is more profound  than anybody else’s, since Macedonia is the cradle of the civilization, literacy, culture, Christianity… and is clean like a tear. Macedonia and the Macedonians have given to the world allot, there is little piece of Macedonia in every corner of the world- very distinct and recognizable and indisputable, as it was throughout our long painful and said history, but has never lost its sense of identity. Even territorially unjustly divided as we presently are- we remain the same Macedonia follows its star and sun. Remember and don’t forget there was no time in history where we have not been and there will be no time in history where we will not be.

 “… and how this erodes the country’s capacity to implement the agreed reforms…”

Agreed by whom??? The signatories of the document in Ohrid, that was illegal and signed in English, in clear violation of international and Macedonian law, do not understand or speak the language that the document was written, and the clause in that document that…” the only valid version is the one signed in English…” renders that same document null and void! That has nothing to do with the country’s sense of identity, as ICG presents it.

Those who agreed to sign the document, as we stressed before, had no legal authority to do so, so it not legally enforceable either. It was also signed under pressure and black mail by terrorists who along with the circumstances clearly fits within the definition of terrorism as defined by the European Council last year one more time supporting the fact that the agreement is illegal.

As voted by the Parliament, legalization of the same document was unethical and illegal also, but conditionally implementing it is at the free will of the government that appears to be well controlled by the makers of the scenario with the “document from Ohrid”, but includes compliance of the people who’s free will was “kidnapped” and “raped” and is now put on test to even admit that  “the rape” was indeed consensual sex”!?!?!!?

The Macedonian stoicism and Christianity is indeed the oldest and most profound! That is how one can explain the endurance of the Macedonian spirit  under so much injustice.

Indeed St.Naum of Ohrid- the miracle maker works in a most powerful mystical way!

“ This in turn has led to a loss of influence…”

Yes influence on whom? On the terrorists or on the Macedonian government, or on the Parliament??? ICG should not forget that Macedonians are not morons! They should have learned more about the Macedonians, after all in the Holly Bible there are 21 references to the Macedonians!!! Do they think ( Provided they have read the Holly Bible) that the reference was made in the context that will show Macedonians as morons and ignoramuses??? 

“The NATO and OSCE missions have let themselves be outflanked by the anti-reformists….”

Lets ask ICG, and at the same token NATO and OSCE: are they in a war with  the Macedonians, or is this reference an unfortunate verbal spill??? “Outflanked   by anti-reformists”!?!?!  Was the “International community” overwhelmed by  there own statements ( just remember NATO’s Robertson in the hall of the Macedonian Parliament during Press Conference along with Mirchea Joana, in response to the comments of Washington journalist Umberto Pascalli who did quote the parts from the written and signed  Statement [ by the  leaders of the Macedonian Diaspora Prof.Nestor Oginar, and Dr.Stojadin B.Naumovski that was handed to the reporters from the worldwide media who were present on the news conference] saying :”… NATO has crossed the line of its mandate in Kosovo under resolution 1244,  and the mandate in Macedonia, and need to live this country alone…” when Robertson replied  saying that :”…everything is voluntarily accepted by democratically elected officials…” and  do you remember Pascalli adding:”…yes under tremendous   pressure…” )

“…Parliamentary elections – due next April – are no guarantee that more amenable leaders will come to power…”

The statement “…due next April…” leads to question: Was the election issue part of the “Framework Agreement “ at all?  Was the issue one of the conditions for the “Agreement” and tied to the entire process as a condition? Since the answer is yes, leads to conclusion that the non-fulfillment of the obligations built in to the Agreement and to clear BRICH of contract, rendering all other parts of the same Agreement null and void.

The issue of “…more amendable leaders coming to power…” is pure speculation. Why would one be skeptic of the new leaders if free and democratic elections are to take place??? Are “amendable” leaders only those who will quietly obey orders from the oligarchs and organizations like ICG , NATO, EU or other emissaries even when that is against the national interests of the Country, against Free Democratic will of the Macedonian people??? Leaders who will accept the status of PROTECTORATE for Macedonia??? Is that what amendable leaders means for ICG?

We believe that Macedonian leaders and patriots will lead Macedonia into new brighter future. I invite the members of the  ICG to read the PROGRAM by POMNI organization and then make there judgments about the future “more amendable leaders”.

“…The conflict with part of the Albanian minority has pushed Skopje to seek security help (both weapons and political support) from the very neighbors who challenge Macedonian identity…”

This statement may be only partially true. The real help came to Macedonia from Ukraine, a country that not only recognizes Macedonia, but gave substantial, and I will say important and decisive help to Macedonia. In both cases business deals with the military establishment toke place. The help received from Macedonia’s  neighbors was also political hinting, and testing the pulse of the players in to the theatre of  fingered scenario.

 “…There is a real risk that the anti-reform camp in Skopje will be tempted by a military solution, even at the risk of national partition – a move that would be welcomed by Albanian extremists…”

ICG has to clearly define who “…the anti-reform camp  in Skopje…” is, prior to jumping in to conclusions. “…Military solution…”- for military problem!!! What is the problem?  The problem is: the insurgency and terrorism! And is so far handsomely tolerated by the “international community” and being presented as  “rebellion”, (which may be the planed second phase of the fingered scenario of a special warfare along with the psychological warfare. Scenario that CNN has already sold well in Chechnaya, Kosovo, Avganistan…Rebelion vs military solution!?!?!?

It is defense of the motherland at stake here! If needed, Macedonia will mobilize all available resources worldwide, and it will defend itself against the implanted seed of terrorism, that is part of the 100 years old process of ethnic cleansing and genocide over the Macedonians by the Albanians and alike, and that lately involves even Al Kaida and similar terrorist organizations.

ICG can not expect that Macedonia will continue with the same level of tolerance, and to continue to allow the terrorism and the ethnic cleansing of Macedonians inside its own country!!!  At last Macedonian Diaspora, with all of its resources, is getting involved in to the political process as well, and it will play decisive role in bringing the crisis in Macedonia to an end, and to make Macedonia a positive role model for the entire Balkan region and wider.

To the ICG and to the terrorists as well the message is clear: The honeymoon is over!

“…In sum, the conflict with Albanians….”

The conflict did not exist at all. It was created as a part of the textbook terrorist invasion. ICG and similar entities keep reinforcing that “conflict” and turning it in to some kind of conflict on the side of the criminal and terrorist elements inside the Macedonian-Albanians community charged with ethnic cleansing and psychological warfare that are operating as joint venture with same kind of elements in there counterpart close to the government circles and to the leading Macedonian   party’s elements infiltrated within some of the paratroopers called Lions and with obvious intentions of discrediting both the Police and the Lions and ultimately promoting environment of uncertainty, non- security and instability of entire regions and the country. Obviously therefore not creating conditions for normal life and almost no conditions for democratic and fair elections to be held at any given time. It all started with the last parliamentary elections resulting in 9 murders among Macedonian-Albanians and all politically motivated. What will one expect in next elections to be held in September, only 5 months from now under such circumstances- ICG will blame it to the conflict with the Albanians?!?! It is rather disobedience of the Albanian-Macedonians and noncompliance with the Constitution and the law!

It is obvious noncompliance of the so called political leaders who are directly responsible for the situation from the very beginning (and as it appears participated in creating the same).

“… and the perceived shortcomings of the Framework Agreement…”

Not only perceived shortcomings, but rather great mistakes in it are result of the wrong steps and approach taken in the process of problem resolution (as one can see clearly see dramatically differ from the basic principles in problem resolution earlier presented)…

“…have abruptly increased the importance of Macedonia’s identity crisis…”

And again the identity crisis?!?!?! Lets conclude - there is no identity crisis!

What there was , is an open attack on the Macedonian identity that is everlasting for almost 100 years, and only intensifies with the crisis in Macedonia ( as probably part of the over all conspiracy against Macedonia!!! “If more than two parties are involved in the same matter and results in one’s loses etc- that is clear conspiracy!!) There is obvious mistreatment of Macedonia by all relevant factors in the Macedonian situation, that is giving wrong and false messages to those  terrorists and alike already “poisoned”  by the silent  feed back received from the “international  community” as a result of the mistreatment of Macedonia and its institutions, and  the feeling of power and self-fulfillment  after achieving more than the terrorists were initially hoping for (hen they started the entire mess).

“The international community needs to reassure Macedonians on this issue in order to re-establish a more promising political environment for good faith implementation and constructive cooperation.”

Finally, I have to agree with this statement, first of all because it is true and  because  ICG  admits the wrongdoings of the “international community”. Yes  “international community” needs to show some guts to face the reality created by there wrong policies and to admit it was to fast in concluding that “ the four from Ohrid” were the decision makers for all in Macedonia. To admit that the process was taken out of context and that resulted in the rape of the Democracy in Macedonia, and what we are dealing now with is  “post traumatic stress disorder of the rape victim” that specialists have predicted, and we believe the same kind of specialists have participated in the pathological laboratories where this crisis was concocted.

“…The most acute identity issue – and the one that if resolved would have most positive impact – is the long-running name dispute with Greece…”

One has to firs understand the background of this issue and then attempt to find the solution for the same.

It is well known (and previously above mentioned as well ) that Greece has been occupying 51% of the Macedonian territory. It is well known what Greece did to the Macedonians who lived on the territory  given to Greece 1913. What Greece did to the Macedonians in the process of ethnic cleansing, genocide, and assimilation ever since 1913 ( and for the sake of the truth before that…). I have to quote Greek high ranking officer who [after he learned  I was an American]- who told me in Asprovalta (small  Macedonian city near Solun ( Tessaloniki)  during the summer of 1987 while I was renting “his” house, that he is originally from the  Greek islands and lives in Athens, but the house in Asprovalta [the one I was renting from him]  “…was given to him after Greece got rid of the Macedonians in the 1950’s”. I will bring up the case of Mrs.Cena (again), whom I know personally and who was separated from her two brothers in 1950(?) at age 7-8 ( they were 6-7 years old) by the Greek government forces and shipped to Tashkent ( Uzbekistan)  but her brothers ended up in Poland and Chechoslovakia. She found her brothers trough Red Cross 35 years lather!!! There is no money that can pay that alone, not to speak of property and the family estates, the childhood, memories and so on…

I still remember the case of the woman who has thrown her own baby in to the river, so she could protect her other two children and escape the merciless Greek soldiers who were killing  babies with swords, like animals. This was written in a report by actual Greek soldier in his diery-1913, who could not get over the fact that he witnessed  this terrible moment of a woman  given up the feeling of her motherhood, throwing her own baby in to the river (!!!) impossible decision to make, all in order to hope saving her other two children that she could fold by there hands and run in front of  Greek swords and terror !!!

After all do ICG members should know all of this kind of testimonials that go on the Greek account ( and not be only interested in Carla Ponte’s folders and testimonials from Kosovo They should look at our files and folders too!!!  Little girl Cena was one of 56,000 children ( some reports will say 48,000, but statistics are not replacement for the facts), who’s parents were killed by Greek soldiers in the civil war in the process of  the genocide of Macedonians in Greece.

There is US Congressional document coinciding with the events in Greece after WWII that is also an  evidence that US  Congress had its fingers in it as well. Greeks felt powerful and capable of doing that and not to pay for the crimes!!! That was after WWII. Now is 2002!!! The nuclear age, the space age, the time for facing the truth and asking for forgiveness. Greece is in no situation to dictate any conditions! Greece is trying to cement the deal that is on a shaken grounds and the truth is about to be announced by the judge! Greece has worked with the same China-Hong Cong scenario hoping Macedonians will be extinct by some strange sickness!?!?!?  It did not happened, Macedonians are alive, as is Macedonia ( as I stated earlier) and has to be recognized as the “part of the whole”[20] not only in the way that is described in Big Mac Principle[21] bat as a part of the living body of Macedonia, like the painful reality of the guilty  criminal facing the jury reading his verdict.  Does the criminal hope for collective death of the jury?

Let me remind Mr Gareth Evans of the excellent  Second Annual Dunlop Asialink lecture[22] that was both revealing and educational, and will only quote little part of it:

…The developments I have mentioned, for all their substance, complexity and momentum, have not yet created a capital-C 'Community' in the Asia Pacific in the sense of the European Community (before it styled itself, after Maastricht, as a 'Union'), and maybe they never will. But we are not very far away from the point when 'community' terminology -- at least in the small-c sense -- will be seen as the most appropriately descriptive to portray the character of the region in which we live.

'Community', after all, is not so much a technical description as a state of mind. Whether those of us in Australia of Anglo-Saxon origins, for example, think of ourselves as 'European', 'Western', 'Caucasian', 'East Asian', or 'Asian' -- or as part of the 'Asia Pacific' -- depends not so much on objectively ascertainable facts as the particular intellectual, emotional or ideological baggage we are carrying. And the same is true for residents in any other part of the region. But right around this geographical region (embracing, as I have said, the countries of East Asia, Oceania, North America and to some extent Pacific Latin America as well), I sense a growing perception, at least among decision-making elites, that the identity which matters as much, if not more, than any other when we are considering our place in the world is our identity as members in common of an Asia Pacific community, with shared interests and aspirations and a commitment to achieving them through cooperative machinery.

Of course there will always be some who will see as wildly implausible the idea of a real sense of community emerging in a region as culturally heterogeneous as the Asia Pacific. The most recent advocate of Kipling's 19th century prognosis that 'East is East and West is West, and ne'er the twain shall meet' is of course, though he dressed it up in more portentous prose, the American scholar Samuel Huntington, who has guaranteed his speaking fees on the rubber chicken circuit for the next few years by coming up with the notion that, with the Cold War over, we now have to face, as the major threat to global and regional security, 'the clash of civilisations'. Australia is suggested to be a particular risk in this respect, living as we do on the potentially bloody 'fault line' between Western and Islamic-Confucian civilizations. I have to say that I regard that kind of analysis as no more than cartoon caricature. While there are different value systems giving different weights, and flavors, and speeds, to the kinds of market-economy democracies existing or emerging in the region, the most overriding sense one has is of convergence: the way in which, in the current political, economic and above all technological environment, countries with hitherto very different backgrounds are seeing issues more the same way, doing things more the same way, and developing institutions and processes that are ever more alike.

"Australia is not and can never be an 'Asian nation' any more than we can -- or want to be -- European or North American or African. We can only be Australian and can only relate to our friends and neighbours as Australian."

But while we are and always will be uniquely Australian, we do have something to contribute to the evolution of a new Asian civilisation -- or at least a new cross-fertilised Asia Pacific civilisation -- and that civilisation will in turn be reflected in the further evolution of a new, but still uniquely Australian identity for us. This is the lesson which we hope is also fully understood within the region: that none of the region's members, jointly or individually, can really afford to go it alone; that none can hope to benefit fully if they are not prepared to contribute, and participate fully in the whole region's economic and cultural richness; and that none can guarantee their security better alone than they can by working cooperatively with everyone else.

Should I repeat his words and replace  the words “Australia”  and “Australians” with “Macedonia” and “Macedonians”, for him to be able to understand that we are as “Macedonians” ( and naturally more than that) than he is “Australian”? Not only for the analogy of the example taken, but for the “much more than that”-  are  Macedonia and the  Macedonians to be  compared with Australians and Australia in  any sense.

In conclusion there is no dispute with Greece over the name Macedonia. What there is missing is the honesty, one can easily observe is lock of honesty on the part of Greeks, and lock of international  justice to have Greece pay for its deeds. To have Greece pool out of Macedonian territory the same way Yugoslavia (Serbia) did in 1991 based not only on the referendum but on historic facts and the obligation from 1913.  Fortunately for the Serbs they have not done as near as the Greeks in hurting the Macedonians. This is probably why in Macedonia (or the Diaspora) one can find Macedonians who feel bad about having border with friendly Serbia (with honest  exceptions) and who will still sing the Serbian songs  along with the Macedonian songs.

…”While both countries claim the name and heritage, the Macedonian claim is not exclusive…”

One has to realize and recognize who is who in the claim. Who’s claim is legitimate, and who is the “blind passenger on the ship”, who has stolen and kidnapped the Macedonian history and claimed false monopoly over the Macedonian history including Filip II, Alexander of Macedonia, the literacy...

“…only the Macedonians depend on the name ‘Macedonia’ as the designation of both their state and their people….”

True! No comments on this one. But lets not forget that as presented this is  concerning  less than half of Macedonia’s territory  only (as 51% is still under Greek control and with inclusive names Eastern Macedonia, Central Macedonia, Western Macedonia. Lets not forget that good part of Pirin Macedonia ( a lot smaller than Macedonia under Greek control) has been and is also under Bulgarian control for the same length of time as Greece’s 51%, Serbia ( current Republic of Macedonia) and Albania ( the smallest part by territory but not as small by people) who had received to hold for as “there piece of the action. “

But  Macedonia is the country that practically is the only piece of land that all Macedonians  at this time can call their homeland, and where they can freely call them selves as Macedonians (and in irony to be ethnically cleansed and still suffer the same atrocities as there ancestors did throughout history on the territory of Macedonia, now outside the borders of  the Republic of Macedonia) despite the fact that Macedonians in all the neighboring countries are the living evidence of injustice and crimes committed against Macedonians and Macedonia in 1913, 1945,1950…

“Greece has a more direct interest than other European Union members in establishing Macedonia,…”

That is true statement, since Greece has a lot to lose should the course of events loose control and all out Balkan war is unleashed and Macedonia somehow and by mystical forces regains its territory!?!?

“… but is extremely unlikely to amend its position without a clear message from its partners that they sympathize with and will be helpful to its basic concerns…”

That may be true- Greece is waiting as before: to be told what to do. If we go back to 1974, the time I‘ve indicated earlier and the possible issues with the U.S. military bases in today’s Greece (but all of them almost with no exceptions on Macedonian soil)and the future of the same should U.S. comes up with different plans for the Balkans and wants to stay in Macedonia on a long range basis- Greece may be facing the biggest personality, honesty  and integrity challenge in her newer history. So it is not all as ICG  presents the case. Greece may (as you can see) be in no position to dictate conditions and ask for concessions. It may easily be the other way around.

“…Greek statesmanship is crucial…”

I must add not only for Macedonia’s sake, but for the sake of Greece it self. All of the fogy investment and privatization deals in Macedonia may fall like cards tower. Greece knows it, they have what to loose and Greece is now nervous about that. They better show some statesmanship…!

“…The Greek offer of financial and security assistance, while helpful, cannot substitute for the need to secure the Macedonian identity…”

The Greeks do not have the money to buy what they have stolen. They have to return the stolen to the rightful owners. Greece cannot compensate for the damages and sufferings inflicted on to the Macedonians over the past 100 years period- they can only try to accommodate the living witnesses and finally to ask and pray for forgiveness. 

“…Bilateral talks to resolve the dispute at the United Nations have not yielded a solution…”

It is understandable why! The negotiating parties are wrong and without needed legitimacy  for this kind of  problem resolution,  the method is wrong ( see beginning  of the commentary Problem Resolving Strategies).

“… nor – given the nature of the issue and the regional record on bilateral negotiations – are they likely to do so…”

To me it is understandable. If one takes in consideration that this is an issue of importance for all the Macedonians in Macedonia and the Diaspora,  and if  you look at the profile of the negotiators so far, and their legitimacy to represent all Macedonians( or the lock of it), as well as  the problem resolution strategy  and means chosen, one should not be surprised by the very results of the negotiations.

Add to it  the constant international pressure and “the carrots and sticks”, then these facts alone  are only reminding us of the recent process of “ Ohrid Framework Agreement” and its forced ( and wrong) course of decision making process.

“…The international community has a compelling strategic reason to acknowledge Macedonia's constitutional name as a matter of regional stability,…”

Yes, it does! Doing so, acknowledging  Macedonia’s constitutional name, [ without strings attached] will only  send  the right message to all parties involved in the Macedonian theater, and wider in the Balkans.

One can not be in the Country of Macedonia, as a military force, destroy its roads, pollute its ecology, use it as military base and training camp and lunching base to invade other countries, and in the process not to recognize its Constitution! Lets not forget what was  forced down Macedonia’s throat as amended by Ohrid Frame Work Agreement that incorporated the terrorist’s demands. One cannot  come in and consequently not  recognize its Constitutional name Republic of Macedonia ( as named “in the only valid English version of that agreement”). 

So, it appears  not only that “the international community, NATO, EU, UN etc. they  all have a  need to do just that,  from not only ethical, but  legal point of view, but they are also faced with the dilemma what will Greece say on that!

  Well, what did Greece say on the “Ohrid Framework Agreement” that raped  the Macedonian Constitution, Macedonian Democracy, the free will of the Macedonian people???  The answer is : Nothing!

What is more than obvious is that “ the international community” is trying  to pool a fast one on Macedonia and extort another concession in their   favor like the “middleman” who would  “broker the deal”. The deal  that they ( the International community) need as bed as Macedonia itself, but will be presented to the public as a good deed by the International community and for which Macedonia would have to be grateful. Nonsense!

“…and this can be done in a way that meets Greece’s legitimate concerns…”

Nonsense again. Greece has to be quiet and not demand more than it has already stolen and has to wait for the Macedonian generosity to play its historic role again. Greece should not have any legitimate concerns that one should be worried about. After Berlin Wall has fallen in 1989, Macedonia remains divided!!!

Greece should look for ways to remain in loose cooperation with Macedonia and ask for lifting the border as Greece’s own initiative (while accepting the extended Macedonian hand), so it would give Greece better image in the eyes of the World. At the same time the hope Greece should hope for is that Macedonia will accept the extended  Greek hand and start building a new Balkan of tomorrow, a Balkan of understanding and mutual respect, and tolerance, Balkan that will look and behave as the Taiwan of the European continent, where the Asian and European markets meet  for common benefits of all involved.

“…ICG proposes a triangular solution with the following three elements coming into effect simultaneously:…”

 Before one will read the rest, one should ask for the rules of conduct, rules of the game- Problem Solving Strategies (as noted in the beginning of this report-reply to ICG’s report), then identify the parties involved, and lastly do the job of reading and understanding the issues. Ask only what can be accomplished and suggesting the ways and the means how to accomplish the goals.

1)“- A bilateral treaty would be concluded between Skopje and Athens …”

It should read : Between Macedonia and Greece in both Macedonian and Greek language…

Here is ICG again with its concessions, as if we are selling hot dogs???  No concessions from the Macedonian side, not as a pre condition for resolution of the problem, period!

Now ICG want us to do in our own Macedonia what Greece has done on the territory occupied by Greece for 100 years, poisoning Macedonians with false history,  assimilating what was left over from the ethnic cleansing and  the genocide over the Macedonians. “READ MY LIPS: NO WAY JOSE !”

This is ridiculous, it appears that ICG is proposing prenuptial agreement of two individuals as a mach maker, and not as neighbors that have a lot in common, as if Greece has  not  been occupying 51% of  Macedonia for the past, what 89 years? As if there was no ill feelings and suffering by Macedonians as victims of ethnic cleansing and genocide.

How about little history: Jews sued Germany (and still are ) for there sufferings during the WWII suffering and genocide! What if we say Macedonians sue Greece for the pain, suffering, ethnic cleansing, genocide, illegal occupation and more…?!!! ICG is talking about exploitation of one’s constitutional name, instead  clearly stating that on the other side of the border is “ the other half of Macedonia, still under Greek occupation and control, instead suggesting to Greece  what  Greece should do, and that is what Serbia (Yugoslavia) did- pull out of Macedonia and live Macedonians alone and to decide about there own future.

Will this mean that NATO and the European Union will formally accept what Macedonia and Greece will come to terms of, terms of something being acceptable to both parties?

Why would they (EU,NATO,UN…) do that(?) when for a lot smaller problem with plenty of evidence of being the textbook  terrorist invasion,  the same entities threatened and forced  Macedonia to accept the terms of something that was not acceptable to Macedonians at all, and was not expressing the free will of the Macedonian people, and more would have not been accepted in any other country of the World !?!?

Will this diplomatic notes have the power to overthrow the treaty of Bucharest, Paris- Versailles, Niles, Berlin, Rambuillet, Dayton…???

Where are the special measures for KOSOVO??? Resolution 1244? And other – all of whom  are violated and with no consequences to anyone whatsoever, even resulting in destruction of Macedonia’s Democracy, Freedome, Normal life, Integrity…list goes on and on..? So is this  proposal by ICG taken from the same laboratory as the Cuban - Platt Amendment from 1901[23]???,but this time  the model to be applied in different venue and for the benefit of “the international community”?

Are we on the verge of another Berlin, Rambuillet, Dayton etc???

No dear sirs from ICG none of the above is acceptable!

First of all we ought to learn once for all The Problem Resolution Practices and to use them. All interested legitimate parties need to be involved democratically represented, and working seriously, and with the known guidelines and rules of conduct.

Your proposals are biased and it looks as you are trying again to pool another “fast one” on Macedonia!!! “ Ein’t gono happened” would say my friend in Detroit. No man!!! NO deal!  And may I ask the ICG  members why  then should something like this  be proposed to Macedonia??? Do we look like morons? No deal! Sorry! This deal is indeed what one would find in the Webster dictionary under OXYMORON. Can the criminal be honest??? The antithesis is obvious.

A clever idea, I must admit!  To take UN out of the mess that it got involved in by violating its own Charter by admitting Macedonia under “slur name FYROM”!!!

Macedonians would gladly accept the Macedonian-language name “Republika Makedonija” provided that is the language that is spoken in UN!!! Since English is the language used in UN for the identification purposes, it can only be Republic of Macedonia!!!

Are we talking about the one that gave amnesty to my uncle’s kidnappers ( we do not know his whereabouts, along with another  kidnapped 11 man).

The “Framework Agreement… “ that was “invented” to make Albanian terrorists happy??? That created conditions leading to lawlessness and  civil war and to beatings of my own family members???

As if Macedonia is negotiating with NATO and EU as representatives of the terrorists???!!! What is going on here? Please help me understand who is who and who belongs where!

Terrorists belong out of Macedonia. Once Macedonian police and Army is allowed to do its constitutional duties, namely the defense of Macedonia from all enemies inside or outside Macedonia. NATO has no place in Macedonia.

If NATO’s mission to Macedonia was beneficial for Macedonia, naturally the Macedonians would DEMAND for NATO to stay, but IMPOSING that request as a CONCESSION to the supposed negotiation with Greece over the Macedonia’s Constitutional name leads to suspiciousness and even scientific conclusion that NATO wants to stay in Macedonia on its own ( while still isn’t sure about Macedonia’s membership in NATO),but it has to justify that move.  It appears that for NATO to stay uninvited NATO would have been an occupational force! Therefore imposing to Macedonia “the concession” of extension of NATO’s mission makes no sense for other that  NATO’s reasons, and NATO as the condition maker, while the negotiator is Greece??!!!?!?! Or does it???

“… - An invitation for OSCE to extend its mission for a full twelve months after December 2001, with a mandate to monitor the electoral process at all stages, including full access and authority to make inquiries and recommendations…”

The same applies to OSCE mission. Lets not forget, [and folks from ICG, do not forget] Macedonia is not Bosnia, it is not Kosovo meaning it is not  with the status of a protectorate. Macedonia is independent and sovereign country!

Do not forget that Macedonia is a free country, Constitutional Republic and that all foreign missions in Macedonia are imposed to Macedonia one way or another. Macedonian army and Police are not allowed to do their jobs and all kinds of obstacles are being imposed  in order to render Macedonia nonfunctional and to fit the description of being  unfit to rule it self, and to generate picture that would be  appropriate to permanently occupy the country as a PROTECTORATE. So instead admitting Macedonia to EU and NATO ( as promised to the leadership for signing the shameful “Ohrid Framework Agreement”) NATO and EU would formally become the occupational force in Macedonia, as they are already there!

The conditions in Tetovo, Kumanovo are like remote controlled bombs and machines that could be manipulated according to the daily needs of NATO’s, EU’s policies, or the oligarchic groups that are behind the individuals symbolically representing them. The conditions are being created that are fingering a scenario of a civil war, conditions that will guarantee that NATO and EU troops can repeat Kosovska Mitrovica scenario. Lets not forget that this would turn the Macedonians and alike in to “Palestinians”.

So there is the plan, right. Does it make sense ??? Yes and No!

It all  depends on  who’s side of the table you are. Depending weather you are taking in to account the Macedonian people and the free will of the people, or are you truing to make the textbook terrorist invasion work for the benefit of the few who are not far from the games preceding the WWII, and we all know what happened then?

Or we don’t? Depending who was around Europe at that time, and who was as far as Australia like Mr. Gareth Evans, who must have read it in books like most of those who did not have first hand testimonials from family members like most of us in Macedonia did, my self included.

Well in all as it has been the case with the Albanian terrorist’s invaders in Macedonia were demanding “something” and there were given what they asked for, and even more than they expected. Just like in the Holly Bible!!! Now Greece is demanding “something”, well, sorry they have to invade more of Macedonia in addition to what Greece has been and  is occupying, in order to be able to demand the same way the terrorists did! Just give them the go ahead! (?!?!)

Any questions, why do they say that? Because it will be obvious that they have been occupying  and are still holding Macedonian territory(51% of  Macedonia).It would be too implicative of the truth  and reality which was and still is so bloody  for the Macedonians, and  is so painful for the Greeks  to admit (to the guilt).

How can that be??? And the ICG to propose it ???  Would that name i.e. “Upper Macedonia “ imply there is a “Berlin Wall”, a Korea line in place that has to be immediately open for all on both sides of the Wall/ line?!?!?! (according to ICG). It is not acceptable to Macedonians to be more humiliated than they have already been. It is so arrogant by the ICG to propose something like that! And more arrogant by the Greeks them selves: “As the last resort ….” As described by Samuel Johson.

“There would be no bar on commercial use of the name ‘Macedonia’, or any variant of it, with respect to products or services from either Greece’s province of Makedonia or Republika Makedonija.”

Now this? Is this admission of guilt or what? “ Greek province of Makedonia “ and/or “Republika Makedonija”?

Well, admitting the commercial use of the name  “Macedonia” for products on both sides of the border is at the same time the admittance of guilt- is it not? It looks like lucrative trap.

Internationally the product should be backed by the country of its making. All sorts of limitations for use of the mark “ Made in Macedonia” lead us to believe that this may be a fast one too. Why should we negotiate about this at this time, and link it  to  the “concessions” by Macedonia of giving NATO “request to stay more in Macedonia”? Too much twisted for a “clean cut deal”!!! 

This will certainly be a step ahead.

This part I would say is intended to serve to Greece’s advantage. Acknowledging Macedonia’s name will not save Greece from the responsibility for the past crimes against Macedonians and against humanity!!!

This statement is ridiculous!!! And insulting as well! Well who did  backed Greece 1913 to get 51% of Macedonia. Who did  back Greece  when they did the ethnic cleansing and the genocide of the Macedonians in the 1900’s and During the Balkan Wars, First World War, After the Second World War when they  loaded Macedonian children like little girl Cena and her brothers ( mentioned earlier in the text) on ships(freighters) treating them like lambs and shipped them out to Yugoslavia, Russia (USSR), Tashkent- Uzbekistan, Czechoslovakia, Poland and other places worldwide???

The confidence was lost or severely damaged because of the Greek crimes and atrocities against the Macedonians, because the everlasting  notorious ethnic cleansing and genocide of everything that is Macedonian, [Or non-Greek, because all other minorities in Greece get the same “royal” treatment. Ever since Greek royalty ( the Prince)married British princess ( Elizabeth II) Macedonians who remained in Greek occupied territory and had survived the slather and the killings, are getting the same “royal treatment” of ethnic cleansing and genocide, and are so far getting away !?!?!!?

I will address the issue of Trust [or  better Eroding Trust] trough the article in New York Times, written by Janny Scott, and published  on Sunday April 21,2002 titled “ Once Bitten , Twice Shy: A world of Eroding Trust “ [24]:

( Macedonian River Vardar flows in to Aegean Sea, Greece  drained  large quantities of water from the border Lake of Doiran, damaging the ecosystem, the flora and fauna  , Lake Prespa is also on the current border with Greece…so we give so much of that to Greece indeed. The Lake of Ohrid  drains in to the Black Drim River and Macedonia has the control over its drainage, but still had allowed significant quantities to be drained to Albania as neighboring help. As one Greek patient put it to me in Detroit :”… If you pee in to the river ( or the lake)- it will come back to you as the salt from the sea…”, so Macedonia only gives clean water and sense of confidence to Greece (and Albania). Where is that Greek distrust coming from, a? Maybe from their sense of guilt?)

And it accumulates   when those risks are reciprocated, said Roderick Kramer, a professor of organizational behavior at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. A friend reveals something personal, it is matched, trust deepens.

But  a single betrayal can shatter trust. When that happens, according  to John G. Holmes, a professor of  psychology at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, the person whose trust has been violated may become self-protective, oversensitive, hyper vigilant. They become risk averse.

The great irony of trust is that in order to rebuild it, one must take risk with the very person who broke it. One must make oneself vulnerable to one’s betrayer…”

In Macedonian situation- the Macedonians were the once that were betrayed!!! And they are forced back to make them selves vulnerable to their betrayer!!![26]

“…You can restore trust,” Professor Holmes said. ”But it’s damned hard.”14

The credibility gap in government in Macedonia was driven primarily by the handling of the terrorist invasion, corruption, the “shameful Ohrid Framework Agreement”  that practically had raped the Constitution of the Republic of Macedonia. Something that would have not been allowed in any of the countries  that practically shoveled it  down the throat of the Macedonians, and much more than that. The same kind of “negotiators” without legitimacy were negotiating issues with Greece as well, and are ones quoted by the Greeks or by ICG! And without exception they are usually fingered by the so called “International community”.

“But these days,[with the latest handling of the matters in Macedonia ( Privatization, Albanian terrorist invasion, corruption…]it is hard  not to wonder whether the trust deficit is suddenly ballooning…”[27]

“…the climate of distrust  in the Middle East has made negotiations nearly impossible, and the failed overthrow of President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela this month immediately produced suspicions in Latin America-Despite lack of any clear evidence- that United States had been covertly involved.”

Did Macedonians  forget Arachinovo? Did Macedonians forget Kostur and Lerin? Did Macedonians forget Leshok,Rechica, Neprosteno,Brezno, Jedoarce, Kumanovo…..? Answer is NO! They did not!

We do not  have to go to Palestine and Israel to feel the same distrust, don’t  we?

ICG as the advocate for the Greeks assumes that they did not trust Macedonia. Well ICG is forgetting the cases of the  trust  being betrayed even by the Greek priests on the territory occupied by Greece, and even under the Turkish Ottoman Empire. Let me remind you of the monk called “Doctor” in the Monastery of St.Naum on the Lake of Ohrid and his statement that Serbian Bishop Nikolay was honoring the rule that only Macedonian monks should serve in the Macedonian monasteries. That rule was not new to him, it was the same rule that was violated by the Greek bishops in the process of merciless ethnic cleansing and genocide of the Macedonians. You are talking of betrayed trusts ICG??? And that Greeks do not trust Macedonia?!?!? That is  :” when trust collapses entirely, suspicion hardens into distrust. There’s not much you can do when you get to that stage,” Professor Holmes  said.” In relationships it usually means they break up, if they can.” [28]

Greece did impose embargoes, blockades of the border, strict visa regime. Visa is not being issued to any Macedonians born on the territory now occupied by Greece, discriminating all Macedonians, and is so far getting away with it.

But many cannot- sometimes for financial reasons, perhaps because of the children. In terms of Macedonia and Greece, despite blockades and embargoes from the Greek side, the Greeks are the one’s who distrust Macedonian!?!?! Or maybe they are aware how bad  they have been as neighbors. Or that Vardar river, and Doiran Lake, and Prespa are resources  are resources as is  the port of Solun (Tessaloniki) that is so often closed for the Macedonians, and especially closed for ownership by Macedonians!!??!?!? All that after large chunks of strategic recourses of Macedonia were privatized ( mostly illegally, under priced and via corruption) by Greek companies. And now even reselling to third parties by the Greeks!?!?!

“ And no country faced with intractable animosity on the part of its neighbors has the option of pulling up the stakes and finding another spot. “[29]At  list not Macedonia. Bing’s Rule of Oblique Logic[30] can not be applicable in the case of Macedonia. According to  Bing’s oblique logic  one should not try to stem the tide; one should move the beach.  Republic of Macedonia is the last peace of Macedonia that we have !!! Greece may have that option though, since it occupies 51 % of Macedonia and 100% of Macedonia’s beach!!! Greece can do that: leave the occupied territory and  build “the wall” on the south of Mt.Olimpus, and enjoy there own Greek Mediterranean beaches???

“…In global conflict, a classic negotiating technique entails one side taking a small, unilateral step forward, said Robert G. Folger, a professor  of organizational behavior at Tulane University who specializes in conflict management. That is the sort of step, some said, that Secretary of State Colin L.Powell probably hoped the Israelis or the Palestinians might take.”[31]

But ICG’s analogy between Greece and Macedonia is in the wrong place, they are not at war!!! ICG should focus the problem with the imported textbook terrorist invasion of Macedonia’s territory and sovereignty, and how to twist the arm of Albania and Serbian-Albanians in Kosovo and  Macedonian-Albanian in Macedonia, and not to try to sneak a fast one to Macedonia  for the benefit of Greece.

9-11 ( September 11) and Macedonian crisis   was  a demonstration fundamentally that we need one another. This is an opportunity for rebuilding trust and solidarity that comes along once a century. This is why we have to revisit our obligations and to tell the truth! Telling the truth will clear our souls.

Macedonia and the Macedonians have suffered a lot, Macedonia is still partitioned even after Germany was reunited, [country that made entire world suffer]. Macedonia was the opposite of Germany- it broth literacy to the world, gave culture and Christianity, never invaded anyone, and yet the world is mute and blind even when her integrity and sovereignty are attacked, when ethnic cleansing and genocide of Macedonians is repeated again.

This is why the Macedonians  want everyone to know  that, they are not afraid to tell who they are. This is why Macedonians are not afraid to tell the truth, Macedonia has clear face.

And the powers that ICG is calling for to guarantee compliance  by Macedonia with obligations that only ICG can invent are the same powers that divided Macedonia and frankly maybe should not be allowed in Macedonia even as tourists. The same powers are staying in Macedonia as part of  the mission invented in  the pathological laboratories  funded by themselves.

These were the same leading powers, again proposed by ICG,

It is insulting that ICG is treating us as if we were morons!!!! And even saying:

” Greece would not have to depend on Macedonian promises…”

As if we were the ones who were the criminals and occupying there territory!?!?!

Who should not trust whom in this situation???

Dialogue of Cultures Can Stop Bloody Clash of Civilization[32]

“…This proposal is not a cure-all and it requires the international community to break with the habit of a decade. It will be difficult to negotiate, but – in ICG’s judgment, after canvassing the proposal at length in Skopje, Athens and among some of the major international players – not impossible…”

We have to remind the ICG that again decision making process is infringed, violated. Problem Solving Strategy proposed is as if we were discussing a fence line, and foot or two differences of opinions.

First of all in Macedonia all Macedonians have to participate in making decisions of this kind, and not only fingered few who obey the orders by the oligarchy- therefore giving results not applied in practice, and creating great opposition. Unless that is the intention of the ICG ( I am not sure it is not !)

“The alternative – letting the name dispute fester – signals to Macedonians that the international community may not be fully committed to the Ohrid reforms, or to preserving Macedonia as an integral state. This is a message with dangerous implications...”

It looks as  that ICG  is obviously aware of the fact that it become so transparent what is going on in Macedonia.

The real commitment of the “International community” can be seen in Tetovo and Kumanovo, and elsewhere in Macedonia, where only on paper we have  presence of the police and there is no security for the Macedonians. We listen to rhetoric from all international representatives, while tens of thousands of Macedonians are ethnically cleansed inside of there own country, in an act of pure genocide that is not even verbally noted [so the terrorists would not be upset!!!].

The “dangerous implications” …are felt on every street, and the pathologists in the pathological laboratories creating the crisis in Macedonia (part of the same International Community and  part of the same network ICG  obviously belongs to.

The terrorist invasion of Macedonia is being used by many interest groups. One of them is the Greek side. ICG appears to be truing to propose something that is totally unacceptable. I am sorry, but  I personally do not like this, or would not if I was asked approve of this! I believe that most Macedonians who will read this lines would agree with my conclusion. The only chance ICG and alike have in shoveling something like this down the throat of the Macedonian people is if nobody reads it, nobody knows how to read, or if as in Ohrid fingered people are drown in to trap to sign it and as a result create conditions for a civil war, something that the textbook terrorist invasion and all other kinds of provocations did not succeed in doing.

Here is again the section from the report by ICG that is titled “RECOMMENDATIONS” and content   sublimed for your reminder: 

RECOMMENDATIONS

1.      In order to establish the psychological basis for achieving the crucial next steps toward securing sustainable peace in Macedonia, a major effort should now be made – led by European Union members and the United States – to resolve the dispute over Macedonia’s name in a way that provides Macedonia vital reassurance about its own national identity but at the same time meets Greece’s legitimate concerns.

2.      The best prospects for agreement lie in a triangular solution with the following three elements coming into effect simultaneously:

- a bilateral treaty between Skopje and Athens involving Macedonian concessions to Greek concerns, including allowing Greece to have its own name for Macedonia, and assurances as to future behavior;

- diplomatic notes from EU and NATO member states and others acknowledging Macedonia’s name as ‘Republika Makedonija’ and the terms of the bilateral treaty, while promising to consult with Greece on appropriate measures if the treaty is broken; and

- adoption and use for working purposes by the United Nations and other intergovernmental organizations of the Macedonian-language name ‘Republika Makedonija’.

3. Before formally acknowledging the name ‘Republika Makedonija’ bilaterally and in intergovernmental organizations, at least two up-front concessions should be required of Macedonia relating to the implementation of the Framework Agreement reforms:

- to invite NATO to extend its mission for at least six months beyond March 2002; and

- to invite OSCE to extend its mission for a full twelve months after December 2001, with a mandate to monitor the electoral process at all stages, including full access and authority to make inquiries and recommendations.

As we started with our scientific analysis, line by line of the Executive  Summary Recommendations, and as one can see every line  is leading in to the same direction. Every line proves that the source of the summary is not honest as to its intentions, and is preparing trap like proposal for Macedonia. The interests of ICG is not Macedonia’s well being, or the peace and  “none of the above”. The Summary is insulting and instead offering solution of a problem, as it was advertised for- tends to cement  occupied territory, put the peace and justice “like dust under the rug”[33].

The interests of the ICG were clearly presented in the text. The bias is obvious and the ICG’s approach to solve the issues in Macedonia is not serious and poorly founded. It is too far out of the way and the basic principles of problem solving process.

Instead promotes unjust and oligarchic approach to the solution of the problem, that in fact was the source that originated the problems ever since the unjust division of the Balkans 1913 resulting in unjust and bloody division of Macedonia and  the bloodshed of the Macedonians, continuing in the 1920’s ,1930’s ,1940’s,1950’s and ethnic cleansing and genocide that continues even today.

All of this will prove to the  renders that the “EXECUTIVE SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS”  as well as the source of it - the ICG (International Crisis Group) is useless and if approached with more scrutiny it will appear to be even  criminal.

This report is an attempt to get ICG involved in to the internal and international affairs of Macedonia and Greece in a sneaky way and with ill intentions as to the peace and stability in the Balkans. Attempt to install themselves as the carvers of our own future regardless of the cost to Macedonia, regardless of the cost that countless families have paid and are still paying, regardless of the cost for Greece or for any other country where ICG is getting involved in.

The unfair, and if you want unjust illegal practices for problem resolution, that  ICG is proposing are causing more trouble than they resolve.

In few words The EXECUTIVE SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS by ICG        (International Crisis Group) did not receive passing grade and would have to be redone from scratch.

In the process of redoing their home work,if they ever want to be really successful, the ICG would have to start with lesson #1, that is  with “ WAYS TO RESOLVE CONFLICT”.

After they learn the basic principles, they have to go to the facts finding phase. Research the issues. Know the facts and the truth about the matter in question.

This endeavor, I will suggest they start with the latest book by Prof.Svetomir Shkaric “ The Law, The Power and the Peace- KOSOVO and  MACEDONIA[34], and since the book is not available in English at this time- hire an interpreter ( don’t wary ICG has sufficient amount of money to do that ) and then together study the material well, as it will be very revealing and  I believe it will give an explanations for many unknowns on the subject.

After this book they may be even able to touch the subject and if nothing else will have clear picture of the playing field they are getting involved in.

Other titles should definitely include the materials quoted as footprints. At list that much. More titles as references they will certainly find in the 1273 footnotes quoted in the book by Professor Skaric[35].

They would have to also  identify legitimate representation by the interested parties in the conflict (and use the all inclusive approach to achieve that goal).

They will have to take time and not jump in to quick solution for serious matters of great importance, but rather do the Consensus approach   while including all interested parties in the conflict.

And one more thing for ICG, the Billings’s Advice[36]: Don’t ever prophesy; for if you prophesy wrong, nobody will forget it; and if you prophesy rights, nobody will remember it.

 And another one [that makes me look bad having to answer with longer reply  to your long “Executive Summary and Recommendations”: I don’t care how much a man talks, if he only says it in a few words. [37]

And don’t forget the “Statistics are no substitute for common sense”[38]

Let me quote Prof. Nestor Oginar :”Macedonia in order to save itself, has to save the World. The World has to help Macedonia and vice versa.”[39]

Macedonians should not be asked why they are not afraid to tell you who they are! They  are  people with a compass, with their own identity that is transferred from generation to generation and carefully built to last.

Today, Macedonia is “…one of the trenches of freedom in the world. We have shown by our actions, by our daily example, that in the present conditions of humanity the peoples can liberate themselves and keep themselves free[40]…”and the Macedonians can add: despite all the efforts of many to stop us, or prove us incapable and unfit  to rule [like back in 1908  when”… English have a hundred times declared Turk unfit to rule…”[41]] and to have our own country, we are the Macedonians, the same biblical people  that the Holly Bible quotes 21 times, our country is Macedonia. We have democratic country I should be left alone to live in peace, harmony and prosperity.

Our country, Macedonia should be able to say : I aint well but  I sure am better[42] [then many] and say to NATO, EU, USA …to the World : I saw your arrogance so clearly…. I saw I was just as arrogant as you are but if there is a place for someone as arrogant as  you are, there must be a place for me, too. And you gave me such hope.”[43]

Macedonia should be able to say: I aint much baby but I ‘am all I’ve got [44] ( left of my original self).

I’ve always felt that it was love that kept people alive.[45] And I know that  Macedonians have an abundance of love for mankind. You know why?  Because the mankind is part of Macedonia’s family tree, the mankind had learned from Macedonia, had accepted Christianity from Macedonia, because world has part of Macedonia’s living organism and is part of the family of mankind.

Macedonians are surely able to say ( especially lately) We are thinking for a living[46], since almost 50% of the country’s work force is presently unemployed, but our education never stops. It is in our veins that we learn as long as we live and  so we did  for thousands of years in our Churches and Monasteries under all kinds of occupations and rules. And we survived, we will survive again. Because  never in history was a time when we have not been, never will in history be time when we will not be.[47]

And as  Patric J.Buchanen in his  book “The Great Betrayal” describes “How American Sovereignty and Social Justice are being sacrificed to the Gods of the Global Economy [48], or Ross Perot  titled  his book “ Preparing our country for the 21 st Century”, [The  Official Transcript of the United We Stand America Conference, ][49]  I wrote  “ The  Trials like the last lost battle, The Amnesty as the last Betrayal” describing the situation Macedonia was forced to and reacting to the Law for the amnesty of the Albanian terrorists in Macedonia. Same way was that we have  written our own PROGRAM to prepare Macedonia for  the 21 st Century, that turned out to become the PROGRAM for POMNI movement, soon to take over the political arena in Macedonia.

We should all understand, (especially with ICG like organizations around), To speak the truth[50] – is the only way, now is the time for the truth!

Mother Teresa in her Biography is teaching us that ”We are called upon not to be successful but to be faithful.” [51]

POMNI is teaching us to REMEMBER AND NOT TO FORGET WHERE ARE WE FROM, WHO WE ARE, WHAT WE ARE!

TO BE PATIENT, PERSIST AND TO BE VICTORIOUS!

MR. W.F.GLADSTONE AND THE BALKAN CONFEDERATION
The Byron Society, which is actively engaged in disseminating appeals in Greece and Bulgaria to help the cause of the Macedonians, has communicated to its agents a letter from Mr. Gladstone for distribution in the vernacular in South-Eastern Europe. The Society aims at inducing the Greek, Serbian, and Bulgarian Governments to come to an early agreement in reference to the Macedonia question. The letter is as follows: Harwarden Castle, Jan. 19, 1897. Dear Sir, - The hopelessness of the Turkish Government should make me witness with delight its being swept out of the countries which it tortures. Next to the Ottoman Government nothing can be more deplorable and blameworthy than jealousies between Greek, Bulgaria and Serbia, and plans by the States already existing for appropriating other territory. Why not Macedonia for the Macedonians as well as Bulgaria for the Bulgarians and Serbia for the Serbians? (My Italics, G.N.) And if they are all small and weak, let them bind themselves together for defence, so that they may not be scattered by others, either great or small, which would probably be the effect of their quarrelling among themselves; Your very faithful,  W.E.Gladstone."

 CIA REPORT-GREEK/MACEDONIAN DISPUTE BECAUSE OF MACEDONIAN LAND.
The secret study of the CIA reads that Alexander was not Greek, and that the current problem between Macedonia and Greece are not only because of the origin of this emperor. This information, presented by the Greek TV station 'ANTENA', that the content of the document explains the attitude of Washington in the Greek-Macedonian dispute. The report also reads that Alexander the Great and Macedonians at that time were Illyrians and enemies to Greece, and that Macedonia was not Greek. The authors claim that Greece refuses to recognize Macedonia not only because of the ancient emperor, but also because of its fear that Macedonia might require a returning of its predecessors' land and a compensation for the violence in the past. Greece is also afraid, reads the report, that Macedonians might ask for their homes to be returned to them, which might become one of the most serious in this part of Europe.
The report ends with the statement that, after the Second Balkan War, 'a policy of Hellenization was applied in the Aegean Macedonia, and hundreds of thousands Greeks were settled in the area.'

Taking into account the developed need for the urgent and temporary organization of the administration of the territories in Macedonia, occupied by the Greek army.
At the proposal of the Ministerial Council, we have decided and command the following: The Minister of Justice Mr. K. Raktivan, as representative of the Greek Government, is instructed to organize the affairs concerning the temporary administration of the occupied territories.
The president of the Ministerial Council is to announce and carry out this decree.

TREATY OF BUCHAREST (Aug. 10, 1913). Ends War and partitions Macedonia.
Greece refers to conquered Macedonian lands as the "new territories" under "military administration". Not yet officially incorporated into the Kingdom of Greece.
Military occupation augmented by influx of administrators, educators; police brought from Greece.
Professor R.A. Reiss reports to the Greek government: "Those whom you would call Bulgarian speakers I would simply call Macedonians...Macedonian is not the language they speak in Sofia...I repeat the mass of inhabitants there (Macedonia) remain simply Macedonians."
1917 LAW 1051. Greece inaugurates new administrative jurisdictions for governing newly acquired lands in the Aegean Macedonia.
1919 TREATY OF VERSAILLES (Paris): England and France ratify the principles of the Bucharest Treaty and endorse the partitioning of Macedonia.
Greece pursues forced expulsion and denationalization of Macedonians and begins a colonization by transplanting Greeks into the Aegean Macedonia.
Article 51 of Treaty of Versailles espouses equality of civil rights, education, language, and religion for all national minorities which Greece violates and ignores.
Neuilly Convention and forced exchange of populations. About 70,000 Macedonians expelled from the Aegean Macedonia to Bulgaria and 25,000 Greeks transplanted from Bulgaria to Aegean Macedonia.
Greek Commission On Toponyms issues instructions for choosing Hellenized names for Macedonian places in the Aegean Macedonia.
1920 Greek Ministry Of Internal Affairs publishes booklet: "Advice On The Change Of The Names Of Municipalities And Villages" in Aegean Macedonia.

Malcoln Errington, Professor of Ancient History at the Philipps-Universitat in Marburg, Germany.: "The Macedonia dialect made use of many loan words from the languages of their Illyrian and Thracian neighbours, a circumstance that does not surprise modern philologists but provided ancient opponents of Macedonia with 'PROOF' that they could not be Greeks." Furthermore, "As Macedonians from Chalkis and Korinth also took part, the Athenians decided to retaliate by destroying all monuments to Macedonia kings, including even erasing mere references to them in inscriptions, and by dissolving the two tribes named after Macedonia kings, Antigonis and Demetrias. With this unreasonably sharp reaction to a relatively trivial incident the basic neutrality displayed by the Athenians towards Macedonia since 229 BC was broken...Athenians declared war against Macedonia."

MACEDONIAN DYNASTY.
Macedonia existed as a country-kingdom since the 7th century B.C., ruled by its King Perdiccas I. Greece was occupied by the Macedonian King Philip II at the battle of Chaeronea in 338 B.C. and lasted till the Roman invasion of Macedonia, 168 B.C. During the Roman occupation, there were two Macedonian provinces or two Macedonia's in the Roman Empire; "Macedonia Prima", which was the Aegean Macedonia, and the other; "Macedonia Salutaris", which was the Vardar and Pirin Macedonians. The Romans did not establish any province by a name of Athens, Greece or Hellas.

THESSALONIKE MUSEUM.
By Professor of Archaeology at the University of Thessalonike, Manolis Andronicos, later Professor Andronicos and Archaeologist Stella Druward produced a film under the title "The Glory of Macedonia." Andronicos said: "The Macedonians Produced Alexander, was not Greek at all." Stella Druwald said: "Macedonia was ruled by kings, it was kingdom." Whereas, "Athens had democracy, a great achievement of the Greek civilization." Furthermore: "Greeks after all lived in city-states, where Greeks though proper civilized people should live." Whereas, "Macedonians lived under what the Greeks considered to be primitive and highly authoritative Monarchy."

Elisa Turner's Oct. 27 article, Ancient treasures bring Alexander the Great to life, was enjoyable.
However, it could have been better if it did not skirt the truth. It mentions how Alexander, the young "Greek," was impressed by Homer's Iliad and continues to refer to him as the Greek prince Alexander was the son of Philip II of Macedonia. He was no more Greek than William
Shakespeare was Irish or Scottish.
The great Athenian statesman and orator Demosthenes said of Philip II: "He not only is no Greek, nor related to Greeks, but not even barbarian from any place that can be named with honors, but a pestilent knave from Macedonia, whence it was never possible to buy a decent slave"

Excerpts from the book "ALEXANDER THE GREAT", The invisible enemy, by John Maxwell O'brien.
"Philip was the first Macedonian king to reach the Danube, but Alexander was the first to cross it. Philip transferred populations throughout greater Macedonia. Alexander contemplated massive transfers between Europe and Asia. Philip punished Thebes. Alexander destroyed it".
"Philip and his companions held their breath until they saw Alexander reach the end of his gallop, turn in full control, and ride back triumphant and exulting in his success. MACEDONIANS ARE NOT GREEK
Ancient Greek literature offers many examples attesting to the fact that the Macedonians were not considered to be Greeks by the Greeks themselves.
The fifth-century historians Herodotus and Thucydides described the Macedonians "as foreigners, a distinct people living outside the frontiers of the Greek city-states" (Borza 1990:96), while the fourth-century orators Demosthenes and Isocrates referred contemptuously to the Macedonians as "barbarians" and as "people of a nonkindred race" (Badian 1982:42).

NOT A DROP OF GREEK BLOOD
The Thesis advanced by the Bavarian Scholar, Jakub Fallmerayer (1790-1861), in ueber die entstehung der neugriechen (1835), merits attention.
'Fallmerayer's work, which caused deep trauma amidst the Greeks of his day, argued that the Greek nation of modern times was largely descended from hellenized ALBANIANS and SLAVS, with hardly a "DROP OF TRUE GREEK BLOOD THEIR VEINS"'.

OLYMPIA. A round building of the Ionis order, with Corinthian half columns on the inside, was erected by Philip of MACEDON to commemorate his victory over the Greeks at Chaeronia in 338 BC.
